Hanspeter started his aviation career as a mechanic with Swissair in 1987. He thereafter graduated as a mechanical engineer at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences and in 1998 successfully post-graduated in Business Management.
Hanspeter held several positions at the maintenance provider SR Technics including posts in the Engineering and Marketing department.
He then joined Swissair to be responsible for its Franchise operation, after this he moved to the leasing company Flightlease (the leasing company of Swissair) where he was responsible for fleet planning andaircraft transactions.
In 2002 he became Technical Director at Swiss International Air Lines and managed the airline portfolio of 135 aircraft from a purchasing, contracts and technical management point of view.
Hanspeter successfully concluded a large number of aircraft acquisitions with the major aircraft and engine manufacturers as well as leasing companies.
